TIPS

Don’t give grapes or raisins to your dogs: grape toxicity is linked to kidney damage and can cause sudden kidney failure and even death (Ask the Vet, July 29, 2024, National Enquirer).

Labels stuck on jars or dishes: Rub mayonnaise on them, then soak them in warm water; the labels will peel right off. (April/May 2024 Our Iowa magazine pg 21, side)

Parking: Do not park beside a van with sliding doors on the side. When you get into your vehicle, if someone was in the back of the van, they could open the door and pull you in, and no one would know!

Unstick a Bumper Sticker: Dampen a sheet of newspaper with warm water and lay it over the sticker for 15 minutes. When the paper has disintegrated, you can wipe it and the stick away in just a few swipes.

Bounce: Repel Mosquitoes. Tie a sheet of Bounce through a belt loop outdoors during mosquito season.
